Hi! My name is Lauren. As long as I can remember I have been part fish. I distinctly recall lining up on the wall at our local pool as a toddler to practice blowing bubbles in the water, to when I first passed the Deep Water Test, to becoming a staff lifeguard at that same pool, to Head lifeguard, and finally to teaching the next generation of littles how to blow bubbles. I will never forget the excitement of my students (and myself!) when they were finally able to pass their own Deep Water Test!

Since then, I have gone on to college and grad school earning my Bachelor's in Biology, Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and Master's in Public Health. Working in the clinic and with my clients has reinforced my love of educating and helping people to improve their quality of life as much as possible.

I loved swimming competitively and lifeguarding, but my heart has always been in helping others learn to love the water as much as I do - and to do it safely.

This led me to become a Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructor to provide these resources for YOU!
